Louise spent the early years of her career in private practice at 2 major Australian law firms in Banking and Finance and Commercial/Property. Following this, she worked in-house in a banking Treasury role advising in relation to complex international derivatives transactions. She also spent a number of years in the IT/IP legal team at ANZ, advising on developing e-commerce and technology driven initiatives, cloud migration programs, regulatory compliance and local and international technology and procurement contracts. More recently Louise has helped coordinate a major Australian bank’s compliance with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s BS11 Banking Policy and she is currently focussed on establishing an in-house legal function for an IT services company and advising generally in relation to technology supply contracts.
- Secondment to a major IT supply company, advising in relation to supply contracts and establishing an in-house legal function.
- Advising a major Australian bank regarding its Australian and New Zealand entities’ compliance with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s BS11 Outsourcing Policy. The role involved the remediation of a large number of IT supply (on-prem and cloud) agreements in Australia and New Zealand.
- Advising a major financial institution in relation to the implementation of a Global Payroll SaaS System across 32 jurisdictions.
